Tony started flying gliders with the RAF Gliding and soaring association and Hang gliders in1972
He gained a microlight pilots licence in 1986 and flew with the British microlight team in several world championships with success.
In 1992 he became a flying instructor on both fixed and flex wing microlights and has almost every type of microlight aircraft. For several years Tony has been working with the RAF at RAF Halton training military personnel microlighting. Tony also ran Air Training Corps course to solo standard and currently flies with RAF trainees after they have completed their initial training.
In 1996 Tony became a Flight examiner and has gained 7500 hours flight time.
